2007 2dr X HVAC ?

I have a quick question reguarding the HVAC system that maybe you guys can answer before I take it in to the dealer. It doesn't seem to matter if you have it on heat or A/C you can hear it make a swooshing sound apperantly when it is cycling on and off. It doesn't really sound like a rush of air but more like a vaccum sound. It does this every couple of min. and doesn't change in pitch or frequency with adjustments to the blower settings. Also the A/C is not very cold at all. We have an old Toyota Corolla that has never had the A/C system serviced and it is at least twice as cold. Is the noise a common thing for all JK's or is this something I should have checked out as well as the lack of cold air.

Thanks, Matt

Mine doesn't do that.

Mine does not make that sound. It sounds like a vacuum line has come off. Look under the dash and find it or take to to the dealer. A vacuum leak can cause you other problems if not fixed.

Thanks guys that's just what I needed to know. My wife took it to the dealer we got it from in Houston and only got to speak to the sales guy( I was still at home in Colorado) and he told her it sounded normal to him. I'll let you guys know what I find out when I get the dealer here in Colorado to service it.
