Any '09 Rubicons in the Atlanta Area?

We need to do a test fit on an '09 Rubicon. If you've got one that we can use for a day or so, let me know. There's a free XHD winch bumper in it for you. PM me if you're interested.

Does it have to be a Rubicon ... ????

I can lend my X to the cause .... I'm in Cumming, GA. Got Rubicon Springs, Shocks and E-Disco installed .... and my bumpers and tires are same size as a Rubi ... oh ... and it's a 2009!

Nice ride! I haven't seen that color on a JK before - looks great.

Unfortunately, we do need a factory Rubicon for this. Thanks though.

PM sent. Pretty much stock 09 Rubicon Unlimited in Marietta area. Not sure how easy it'd be to coordinate something to Suwanee, but willing to try.

Unless you're jacking with axle shafts, the homey that posted first could put some Rubicon stickers on there and you would be good to go.

It's probably got something to do with the sway bar disco, but I'm still not sure what is different about 09.

For anybody that is unsure, I will vouch that the deal is legit. I got a free sway bar disco skid and some floor mats for letting Dave use my Rubi a couple of times to test fit stuff.

... or maybe they want to do some serious off-roading to test their product .. and need meaty tires and lockers?

That's what we need to figure out. We've gotten a couple of reports about an interference between the E-disco and the XHD on '09 Rubicons. We are also aware of successful installs on '09 Rubicons. We're trying to figure out if there is a problem, what it is, and how to fix it if it exists. We need a factory Rubicon over a standard that has been fitted with an E-disco, simply to eliminate a variable.

OK ... THanks for the info. My E-DISCO did come out of a 2009 RUbi ... but I did the rotated install to help with clearance and protect the connector ... so mine isn't a stock appearing setup anyway .....

He did and emailed me Thursday; I replied, but haven't heard anything back.

With the distance to their shop it's extremely difficult for me to get my Rubi over there on a weekday. I'm guessing Dave's hoping for someone that can more easily get their Rubi there for a weekday.

Indeed. Weekends are for working on my own Jeep.

Dave, want me to take a "test drive" and bring it over there? I'm sure the dealer would like to sell me another one.

Understandable, and I gotta work weekdays to afford my Jeep. Bit of a catch 22, eh?

Anyway, if nothing else works out the offer of coming here remains open.

I think you should just goto the local dealers lot and start taking off the factory bumper on all the rubicons and test fit yours
