JK wheels on a WK

I think I know the answer, but want confirmation.

Will my JK wheels fit on a WK? I'm thinking of putting my JK Rubi wheels on my wife's WK after I get my new wheels/tires. I know I'm getting rid of the flat out dangerous SRA tires off the WK and I WANT to replace the ugly arse chrome wheels. I figure this will work out well.

Next question is... what are some good tires that I can put on the WK? I will not be lifting it right away so I'm looking for 245/70 (or maybe 65)-17 (I think). I might be towing a bit, but nothing too great (maybe a pop up camper later). My main concern is getting a tire that's good for the winters here (never lived in Jersey before, but assume I'll be dealing with some snow later this year).

Any advice is welcome. I'm considering the BFG TAKO or maybe Pro Comp XAT.

Yes, JK and WK wheels have the same 5x5 bolt pattern. I would recommend the BFG AT's for a decent all-around tire, especially where that icy white stuff might be involved.

Happy trails,

Send a message via Yahoo to thaduke2003

Firestone Destination A/T's have served me VERY well up here in the Northeast. Only A/T I'll ever use again- they really handle well, and grip in snow and rain is superb, and ice isn't too bad either- Mark W.

Back in a '94 YJ! Well, after I sink $$$$ into it...

Thanks, both of you. One a related note, are the backspacings equal (or at least close) on the wheels between JK & WK?

The Firestones are a possibility, too, as are the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos.

We'll see what happens. I need to get the wheels/tires for my JK first and foremost.
