Great tire size without lift

Just put on a set of nitto all-terraine gapplers 295-70/r17 on my 4 door Jk .Perfect . Went 4 wheeling with a few friends all of us about 250 lbs, no problems at all(except I was in 4 wheel high, The ass that I am ) The only advice I can give is have them installed a shop that specializes in 4 wheel so they pay extra attention to make sure there is proper clearance. What a difference in ride and especially appearance. Cost about $210 a tire but well worth it, now it really looks like a jeep . Was also told by the jeep dealer that if I installed a lift It could void the life time warranty Dont know if thats true or not but worth exploring

Pictures Pictures!!

A lift should not void your warranty.
I have a 3" and 35 tires and have had no problems. If the lift causes an issue like drive shaft or steering problems they may not cover it under warranty. MOPAR even sell and installs lifts so they have to cover it. Some dealers are good and some are bad.

I guess it depends on dealership. I actually called them before buying tires and asked about warrenty. Service manager told me Im covered as long as I dont make any modifications. I have to look further into this as Id love to go with 35 inch tires with a lift at a later time ,but just bought JK 3 weeks ago and cant afford tires, rims and lift. I guess the tires will have to do for now which were awesome on the beach today
