Grill to Bumper Warranty

Today I surpassed the 36,000 mile mark. No more Grill (replaced the front OEM bumper) to Bumper warranty. Has anyone reached the 100,000 mile mark yet. When did you get your Jeep? What has been replaced because of defect?

I got the Jeep Nov 2007
I have 36,097 miles
I had to have the soft-top header bar replaced. It became warped or bent and I ended up getting a 1/4" gap where it was supposed to seal against the top of the window frame (passenger side).

Post Front Axle

Mine needs to go in for a leaking front Axle. It's leaking where the tube enters the diff housing. I just don't want to walk the 14 miles each way while the jeep is repaired.

Mine just turned 80,000 and I have not had any problems or dealer work done, except the software update the first week I bought it. I've had 6 inches of lift and 37's for about 70,000 of those miles. Not bad!

No but I purchased the extended factory warranty so.......... no need to worry until 70,000 miles. Something you can still buy and avoid potential expensive repairs.

Grille

Mine was around $800 when purchased right after the Jeep. I bought it through chryslerwarrantys.com and the lady there is great to deal with. You can buy them from the dealer when buying new but each dealer up-charges what they want to "earn" from the sale. Chryslerwarrantys.com was (I believe) the first to realize a nationwide market and sell the warranties discounted.

My dealer wanted around 1,500 for the exact same factory extension. It pays to look around.

I had a bad experience with a factory extended warranty and never bought one again. I think mine was a bumper to grill warranty.......front bumper to the grill!
