Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac?

Hello I was just checking out there if anyone has anything to say about the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tire? I'm looking at putting a set on my 2007 JK 35 x 17. Thanks again.

I have been checking this tire out also and would be interested if anyone has them. I think they just came out a few months ago, so people might know about them yet.

They look like they should be pretty good for an AT, quite large voids and what looks to be a good design. By all accounts they are very quiet on the street.

This fall I will be buying 5 new tires for my rig.It will be either the Cooper STT's,or the Goodyear Duratracs.I've run both Cooper and Goodyear tires for many many years and have zero complaints about either brand. The one thing in the duratrac's favor is the mountain/snowflake on the sidewall. Here in Oregon,if they have the road marked in the winter "traction tires or chains only",the tires need to have that symbol.I haven't read anything on the stt that says it has that marking.Silly but true

Somethin's happenin' here, what it is ain't exactly clear, there's a man with a gun over there,a tellin' me,I have to beware.....

I'm wanting to know how well they are and how many miles they are good for, I also would like to know how they are in mud, like crossing ditches and dirt/mud roads. We have a clay "gumbo" type mud so all terrains usually don't do too well as most mud terrains don't do well either. I need a all terrain more than a dedicated mud though, so inquiring minds would like to know!!! Lol!

Same here but I only have 800 miles on mine. Had them out on the trails 2 weekends ago and they did well. Looking forward to seeing how they do this winter

I have them in the 285/70r17 variety. I really can't say enough good things about these tires, I love the fact that they are kind of a hybrid at / mt. I've put 13000 miles on them so far and the wear has been minimal, it's kind of suprising considering how soft they are. These tires are very smooth and quiet on the road, wet traction on pavement is pretty decent, can't wait till the snow flies. Offroad these tires have impressed me quite a bit. Anyone who has wheeled in the northeast realizes how rocky and muddy it can be and these tire have done very well in both conditions. They clear out mud suprisingly well, I'm prety sure my old bfg mt's packed up quicker than these do. On the rocks the tread pattern mixed with the softer compound makes these tires flat out grip. I have yet to have traction issues, can't say the same about the bfg mt's (non km2's) that I used to have. Another thing is that they seem to be pretty resistant to chunking and sidewall damage on sharp rocks, something that my bfg's had serious issues with. Here's a pic to demonstrate their impressive grip on rocks:

2008 X 2-door, 35" Duratacs, Clayton Long-arm, geared and locked

2012 Rubi 2-door, 37" Nittos, Method Beadlocks, JKS Suspension, JCR everything

I plan on putting these tires on my wife's mall crawler when her KM2s wear out.

I have been selling a ton of these tires as well, if you need pricing shoot me a PM!

I like the TRXUS MT. Not a 50K miles tire. But it sticks to the road under the nastiest conditions.
Love playing in the snow on road. The defy the old "wide is bad" rule on snow.
Quiet on the highway. Wet traction rivals All Season tires.
Not at all slippery like BFG and GY MTs can be. GY is right up front that their MT sucks on wet pavement. The new Kevlar looks like it does better.
I has GY Wrangler RTS on my Cherokee as OEM. They sucked bad. Lost traction in the rain on slow turns. My wife almost went into a guard rail doing only 12 to 15MPH on a tight turn. So I am just a little sour on GY for anything.
Favorite for an SUV that will never go off road is the Michelon cross terrain. It is an All Season made for SUVs. Very nice. Long wear, very high wet traction. Very good snow rating. Typical for an AS in the winter. But if I had to go out in a Winter crap storm I took my YJ with its 33x12.5" TRXUS MT's.
Now I live in NC. Not so much snow anymore. But it funny watching local try to drive in it.
