Easter Camping, Amicalola style

The Weatherman says it will be wonderful this weekend; anybody up for an overnighter to the Jones Creek area (FS-877) again?
Same area as this fabled weekend two and a half months ago:

When are you going and how long will you be there? The wife will probably work tomorrow and we have a dinner (um...lunch) to attend on Sunday.

I'd love to get out and camp a little again, but don't know if we can fit it in. Last time was back in the fall I think

EDIT>Just had a chance to see the slideshow, looks like everyone had a good time. A lot of interesting rigs there as well.

The guy with the big red Unimog is meeting me on FS-877 tomorrow morning at about 0900 or so. We'll bag a campsite, set up my trailer, then go roam around a bit.
To get to FS-877:
Start on Nimblewell Church Rd off of 52.
Go up fs-28 (on the right side of the church)
Take left fork and go up fs-77 (Winding Stair Rd)
Left on fs-77a (Jones Creek Rd)
Follow almost to the end and make a right on fs-877 (it's marked); we'll be in one of the sites along this short road. Can't miss my Conqueror trailer.
Here's a link to where fs-877 begins:

Well, it was wonderful chamber-of-commerce weather. Bob & Pepper came down in the Mog from TN. We wheeled, we ate steaks/chops cooked over an oak fire, scouted new and interesting (muddy) roads, found a nice campsite or 3, and just generally enjoyed ourselves. I've never seen two happier dogs...
Hope you all had a good Easter too and wish a few more of you would venture into the woods with us next time.
Thanks for coming, Bob; and thanks for taking me mogging. That truck is royal hoot.

That storm Friday night was pretty nasty. Good thing you set up camp Saturday.

The wife came down with a stomach virus, fever and all the entire weekend. I ended up making our half of the Easter dinner and sending it to mom-in-law via our nephew.

I did get a chance to ride to town with the tops out, windows down.
