Official 2012 Jeep Beach thread.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION!!!
Quote:
We are very excited to announce that PARTICIPANT registration will open on Wednesday, January 25th at 2:30 PM ET. At that time, please go to www.jeepbeach.com and follow the steps for registration. You will also be able to pre-order your merchandise. This year, we will have t-shirts, coozies, hats, tank tops, visors and dog tags available for pre-order. We have a new store this year that should make your shopping an easy, one-stop process!

WHY SHOULD I PRE-REGISTER?

Pre-registering will yield the following benefits:
$10 discount – Registration fee is $60 day of the show.
Entrance into the Vendor Shopping Spree – we will draw two names from all of our pre-registered participants and they will receive a $200 shopping spree to one of our title sponsors.
Pre-ordering merchandise guarantees the size and color of the merchandise you want. Only one t-shirt color (charcoal) will be available the day of the event, but will be in limited quantities. Merchandise is not guaranteed the day of the show unless it is pre-ordered.
Less paperwork to complete on the day of the event.

If you have any questions, please take a moment to read through the Frequently Asked Questions and Terms and Conditions on the website. If we didn’t answer your question or something is unclear, please feel free to e-mail [email protected]. We will respond to your e-mail as soon as we can.

So for those of us who have never been...please give us the lowdown on what "Jeep Beach" is and why I should start putting pennies away (and apparently bottles of Whiskey) so that we can swing down for it....is it family friendly? pets allowed? what's the deal?.....

Jeep Beach is very family friendly (until 10pm or so, at least ), don't worry about that It's just a super fun event- tons of Jeeps, great people who all share a common interest, raffles, driving on the beach, drunken pool parties, etc. There's something for everyone at Jeep Beach

You don't need to drink to love Jeep Beach. We took the kids the 1st year, and just the wife and I since.

We usually travel down with local jeep folks,
see friends from all over that we don't get to see much,
see the AWESOME JKO/JEEP BEACH VENDORS
meet a lot of new Jeep folks,
get a butt load of sand in the Jeep,
get love bugs on the tow pig and Jeep,
and win some great raffle prizes...

Fellowship with a couple of thousand folks that love their Jeep like you do...
Priceless

See y'all there!

wurd

In 2009 a crack commando wheelin' unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the South Florida underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as wheelers of fortune. If you have a problem. If no one else can help. And if you can find them. Maybe you can wheel with The 50/50 Off-Road Team.

Already have it blocked off on my calendar...just waiting for hotel info...

SIDE NOTE....if you are not staying at the host hotel, I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE anyone from staying at "El Caribe" resort.

They had beg bug problems and really didn't give much of a shit. We found out the hard way within 1 hour of checking in last year.

Planning on being there again in 2012.

My dog is worried about the economy because Alpo is up to 99˘ a can. That's almost $7.00 in dog money.

I drive every year, but there is always something going on. Daily meet n greets wed-fri, and sat is the show/raffle and usually night party/pub crawl.... sun is the parade on the beach, 2nd raffle and pool party... in my opinion, sat and sun are worth the trip alone.

This is also all based off my past experiences... I don't get any info more than a few hours before I post up.

Rock Krawler Suspension will certainly be there! Now, if we could just get Jeremy to stay in the booth instead of racing around the speed way, all would be good!
