Intermediate/moderate 4-wheeling course focuses on steep hills, deep ruts, and rocks--great for Wranglers or aggressive SUV's (Xterras, FJCruisers, etc.). This is not a rock-crawling wash trail, but there are some puckery spots. 10% discount for club members!
Explorers: Comprehensive 4-Wheeling
This comprehensive hands-on lesson includes basic preparation, 4wd driving techniques, trail etiquette and basic recovery procedures in a variety of terrain and obstacle types. Learn how to read trails and analyze obstacles. Learn how to anticipate how your vehicle is going to react in different circumstances. Perfect for the outdoor recreation-oriented driver who wants to use 4wd to explore and enjoy the backcountry responsibly.
Vehicle requirements: 31” or taller tires, skid plates, recovery points.
