Quadratec Tent Sale Worth The Drive?

I see the Quadratec tent sale is this weekend and I'm wondering if it would be worth the drive from Long Island. Google Maps says its a little over three hours driving. Is there a ton of good stuff for dirt cheap or not so much?

Deals can be had, but if you go, get there EARLY! That line is a killer and it's a mad dash for the good stuff when the gates open.

Getting there early is the best idea. I was there two years ago and there weren't a lot of JK parts

I plan on entering the show n shine as well.

Last year seemed like nothing but JK parts Nick, I'll be there maybe in the first 50 people again. Worth it if you're early

Usually TJ/JK parts are there because that is the bulk of the business.

Also, they have started moving fresh parts out throughout the day instead of all at once, so people who come later will have a better chance of finding something good.

I just got my registration info for the show n shine. I've got to be there by 9 and judging is between noon and one.

I don't know if there's public judging or if it's all done by q-tec people. Anyone have any input?
How about ideas for presenting the rig at the show? I've got a display board that I'm gonna post my mods and some pics on, getting it detailed on Friday (perk of my GF working for a car dealership), gonna drop the top and have it folded real nicely... Anything else?

Nick, I'm pretty sure its the Q-tec people because I've been to 3 so far and haven't seen a public voting thing yet. Should I enter to give you some competition with another blue 4dr? j/k

Not really, they have some really good deals and I've even seen people buy stuff new there and not pay for shipping.

So just got back from the tent sale and what a kick ass time. had fun hanging out with Nick all day, and oh yeah,

I WON A SUPERWINCH EPI9.0S!!!!

Spent ten dollars on raffle tickets, and what do you know? I finally won. I couldn't be happier, I've entered into just about every drawing for a winch at every event I go to for the past year or so, and never won, but now my ship has come in. Beautiful weather and a really kick ass event.

I also purchased a Skid Row Offroad tranny skid for $50, that usually retails for $290.

Not a bad day to spend $60 and walk away with $1200 worth of goodies.

I picked up a hi-lift jack and the "accessory kit" new poly rollers for my winch fairlead, a poly jack handle isolator for the hi-lift and... The bargain of the day... Skid Row engine and trans pan for $50! It has no hardware and is missing one mounting strut.

Still can't believe Zach won the winch!

I saw your rig joneszj, I was jealous as hell when I saw you win that Superwinch. I didn't know about the raffle at that point. Now you need to get yourself a bumper to accomodate.

I got a Warn rear carrier and an XRC8. Lot of nice Jeeps at the show-n-shine, and equally nice ones in the general parking lot.

If you didn't see anything in the scratch and dent area you could order from there catalog with 10% off. If they didn't have it in shipping was free. I ordered a warn compressor and an evap skid that weren't in stock.
Talked to Nick for a while-that is one nice JK. It looked even better parked next to the player.
Congrats Zack.

Yep, the pretty jeep one...had some real fancy mamba wheels, real fancy just in general.

And what put him over the top, I think anyway, was the tire wet foam he sprayed up under the fender liners. Apparently Nick not having fender liners was the difference maker. And my dirty ones just couldn't compete.

I like how "the player" is wasting a perfectly good AEV hood.

I think this thing is finally coming together. Still Needed: drive shafts, frame mount rails...then done son! For a while...
