Big Bear Forest Fest JK run

What: Big bear Forest Fest 13
When: June 18th-20th
Where: Big Bear, CA Headquartered at the Snow Valley Ski Resort

For the past 12 years the Inland Empire 4 “Wheelrs” have hosted the Big Bear Forest Fest. One of the largest and longest running 4 wheel drive events in the Big Bear area. Great trails are enjoyed by fellow four wheelers in Southern California's mountain playground, the San Bernardino National Forest. The club leads several runs throughout the San Bernardino Mountains. Runs are open to all makes and models of 4x4's with trails ranging in difficulty from easy to challenging. In past years the club has served over 700 tasty homemade BBQ dinners with dessert and hosted a raffle with over $25,000 in prizes. Free dry camping in the Snow Valley Parking area is included with admission.
Proceeds from this event are donated to various charities throughout the year, with a majority of the proceeds donated to organizations dedicated to keeping our trails OPEN. Check out our web site for more information.
www.ie4w.com or contact our Big Bear Forest Fest Chairperson by email at [email protected].

This year we'd like to do a JK specific run. From the little bit of discussion I've had with fellow JKO members, we managed to fill the run I normally lead. Because of the amount of interest we've had, we've now split the run and added a run specifically for JK's. Those with JK's that have already registered will automatically be included on this new run. We have about 10 spots left to fill on this run. So if you’re interested please click on the link above to reserve your spot. Be sure and request a spot on the JK run, as it’s not listed on the web page. We will be running Holcomb Creek 3N93, which is scheduled to open just prior to the event. Please act fast, if we don’t fill it with JK’s in the next few days it will be added to the clubs website and opened to everyone.
Thanks,

Larry McRae

We looked at Holcomb on Saturday... of course it was closed, but it looked like a lot of fun. There was a fair amount of water running down the trail as well, probably will not be in June, but it might be extra fun to run it at this time of year next year while there is water on the trail.

I wish I could commit to this, but I have plans for a Rubicon run in mid to late June.

shyte....I keep forgetting to register

Dirty's Minions don't officially exist. They are a myth, a bedtime story, a whispered rumor. They are ghosts.

I'm in.

I'm already signed up. Although looking at the trails, I've decided that my stocker needs some skid plates.
