4 Bronze Stars, 3 Purple Hearts.. Fought in 3 wars..

Yes.. My father in law was a real hero.. Never met the man but I have read all his DD214s and seen the medals..

Not today. But, last night, I saw one devilishly handsome guy wearing one that he got from his brother from another mother!

I glad everything worked out and a TON of people showed up.. Food, drinks, and even a band.. What more could one want for a gathering..

And I hope you are kicking back tonight, Joker and getting drunk.. You were all over the freakin place.. I think everyone should give him a round of applause for the hard work and on short notice due to venue location change.. I can't wait for next years gathering..

What a show.

I am glad I could be a part of it.

Thanks to everyone who put some miles on their jeep to come celebrate w/ us!!!

The Florida, Tennessee and 'Carolina's tags were nice to see at such a meaningful event.

My hats off to all of you who made the trip... Thanks!

BTW... Rooster, I would be embarrassed to drive that thing anywhere.
And Lee... You did a great job!

Yeah.. Same here.. To be honest I wish I could have met more.. But I am kind of shy.. The only reason I saw Joker was because of his shirt and he came up to my Jeep to say hi..

Yes, but there's just something about him. Something around the eyes, I don't know, reminds me of... me. No. I'm sure of it, I hate him.

I also want to say thank you to everyone for adhering to the motto "Tread Lightly".I talked to the park manager today to ask how everything looked and he said he couldn't even tell we held an event.I told him that was the whole idea.Anyhow,he said he thought we would be more than welcomed back next year if we chose to hold the show there again. Thanks everyone.

BTW,the Veterans seemed to really enjoy the show and the monument and I was more than thrilled to sit and talk with a few of them.Amazing men. Thanks again Vets.

Awesome time

We had a great time. Thank you to everyone in the Low Country Mud Rats club for all your hard work putting this together. A special thanks to Lee and Teresa for the sightseeing trip. It was great.
Here are my pics from this weekend.

This definitely made my trip worth it.

This is the site where the WWII Veterans Memorial will be built. Such a perfect location. They are hoping to have it completed by July 4th, 2010.

Thanks to everyone for the great time.
