Any good write ups/tips for replacing a 4.0?

I've probably pulled 100+ engines over the years, but mostly in old muscle cars, never pulled a 4.0 out of a TJ. I'm sure it's not rocket science, but if any one knows a a good write up or has any tips to make it go easier/quicker, that would be greatly appreciated!

They are not hard at all. It's straight forward. I see allot of people want to leave the trans in place on the skid plate but I like to remove the trans and t case and get them out of the way. with 6" of lift you will want to take the air out of the tires to save your back as well

get a good TDC and mark the cam sensor (distributor) before pulling. HAS to go back correctly.

that 4.0 is heavier than you think.

AOR is right, it's easier to pull everything out. Easier putting it all back in as well.
