We walk or catch cabs when we are down there. The wife and I would love to take the JK down.

Had my JK built in US and shipped down to our lodge/Hotel

Use this for personal and take out friends to see the country side. It's perfect here.

If the wife and I ever move down to the Osa Peninsula the jeep is coming with us. Costa Rica begs for Jeeps.

Ha, funny to have found this particular tread. I know it is an old one but here it goes.
I am form CR, moved to NJ 25 years ago. My first ride was a 1947 JC-2A that I enjoyed very much. Back in a jeep after many years, feels just like the old days!!!

2008 JKU X auto 3.73 steel blue metallic. Added dual top and rubi shocks with 17/58 springs. Otherwise mostly stock.

BTW, I have seen a newer JKU (red) a couple of times parked between a house and a horse barn that says "PURA VIDA*COSTA RICA" in white letters right above the rear fenders, pretty cool looking jeep.
Have seen it on my way to a job two or three times but never got to see or talk to the owner.
