Anyone who carries a firearm and travels between states.

I travel a lot (300 nights average in hotels per year) and carry a firearm. Knowing the gun laws between states is pretty damn important as they vary greatly. I use this site a lot as it is regularly updated and very accurate.

Handgunlaw.us

All you have to do is click on your state and another window will pop up and show you which states honor your states carry permit.

Thanks,

I don't travel as much as I used to, so these days I just call whatever department is in charge and ask them if they are still reciprocating with my state.

Always good to update yourself on these laws, and reread them from time to time. Especially the different signage from state to state on what is enforceable.

Thanks for the link, thats a good site. I usually look on Concealed Carry's site or NRA but this one is quicker. I keep hoping for the Nationwide reciprocity but with all the population on both Coasts against it it's unlikely.

Thanks for the link

Thanks. I referred to this site when we drove from MI to NOLA in May. Very helpful.
