I picked this up a couple weeks ago. It's a Sig Sauer 1911 called Spartan and is based off the XO model. It has an oil-rubbed bronze finish instead of the normal black or stainless and is much nicer looking in person. I changed out the grips for VZ Operator II grips. Sig has made a couple other models in the same finish: P238 and M400 rifle.
I like those!
My favorite 1911 is a Sig 4.25" Carry stainless.
Some people rag on the Sig 1911's cause of the external extractor but it works great.
Plus nearly every other semi-auto on the planet uses an ext. extractor so they obviously aren't a weak link. Just non-traditional.
