Rossi Circuit Judge

Anyone here that has one or used one? I'd like to hear what you think of them. Likes, dislikes, etc.

It is a hand cannon , I'm 60 years old and it was more than I could stand to fire it the ten times I did .

Accurate yes , but the flinch factor kicked in at the sixth round .

I usually visit our local range at a minimum of four times a month and dispense with at least 100 rounds of 45Acp so its not that I'm not used to firing a weapon with some ass , but I found it to be a novelty item for me .

As for it being a home defense weapon , no doubt would I want to be facing the noisy end of that thing .

More of a younger mans game , Quite the blaster go for it see if you do better than this old dude .

Are we talking about the same gun? I have a Ruger 96 .44 Mag and I thought the .45 Rossi would have similar recoil at the shoulder. Do you think a recoil pad would help? Or is it just the way it needs to be shouldered? Do you get any gas seal problems on your arm or is it baffled well enough that it isn't a problem? Did you use it all for .45 or did you fire any .410 and how hard is it to change?

The one I fired already has a recoil pad on the stock , there are versions without the recoil pad I believe , but I'm not certain .

Its just such a short barrel and I was only firing 410 - 3" magnums , still a lot of felt recoil . It may be much better with the 45-LC I'm certain , but I wanted it for a house protection shotgun that wasn't a cut down barrel standard shotgun .

Small and easy to swing around is what I was after , kind of like a coach gun .

Don't get me wrong , I bought it with only one purpose in mind , blast a home invader with buckshot while still half asleep .
