Very nice lineup there, so much want for a 338 lapua.

And sense you said you reload a lot figured id ask. Can you recomend a good 45 load? Been having some issues with an occasional FTF in my 1911. Round will chamber, hammer drops and nothing happens, eject the round drop it back into the camber by hand and it will fire.

ummm well for one i dont really care for 40s.there is alot of stuff i have found out about how crummy 40 calibers are.... there are some things that lead me to believe that 40 ammo will come very hard to find in the near future... but i love my 229 sooo much i have one that has been abused and just takes it like the dirty slut it is... i have about 10k rounds threw it and it eats any and shoots just like it does the day i bought it..

hell ya man.. well first off it kinda sounds like you have light strikes... so either your hammer spring is shot.. or you have crappy primers.. if they are winchester primers that could very well be your issure..

ok well here is a few awesome loads i have used..
230gr projectile
4.8 gr of clays poweder
then sami length c.o.l
then try cci primes they work awesom

Thanks, Ill load up a few and see how she does. Its a relative new gun with very little use so I doubt the spring is bad but who knows. I have been using remington primers but recently switched to CCI. Ill load a few and see how it goes. Thanks for the data.
