Maybe they could explain the Rwanda genocide in 1994. about 800,000+ people killed over the course of approximately 100 days - so roughly 8,000 people a day were killed, almost all of them hacked to death with machetes, not with guns.
How about things like Jonestown in 1978. 918 people dead from drinking poison all due to a lunatic cult leader.
Let's certainly not forget 9/11/2001 where 3,000 people died from deliberately crashed airliners which had been taken over by men armed with box cutters.
I could list such incidents extensively.
How many people, in this country alone, are killed each year accidentally or intentionally by automobiles? Are there large calls for the eradication of automobiles. Are there protests outside of automotive plants and UAW headquarters to stop producing automobiles because of how many people they kill? Should only law enforcement professionals have cars?
What about accidental medical deaths? Should hospitals be picketed ? Afterall a lot of people die in them. Doctors have killed lots of people in spite of their hippocratic oath. Why haven't they been banned?
What I found most interesting about the video was that the majority of those protesters appeared to be women of ages 50 to 70. The old guy may have been one too I don't know.
I gotta be me cause everyone else was already taken.
