Question Sig 556R scope & bipod suggestions

Just got a smoking deal on a barely used 2nd GEN Sig 556R -S (factory quad rail) a few days ago and am looking for scope and bi-pod suggestions.

Wanting to be able to shoot and see shot placement up to 100 yards & out to 200 yards occasionally when hunting.

The rifle came with a Sig red dot that is ok to 50 yards so I put a SightMark Triple Duty 10-40X56 on it that works fine (I already had the scope) but it makes the rifle top heavy and hard to handle even on the bench...not to mention it looks odd as hell being on a 16" barreled rifle.
I should mention that I have Essential Tremor and I am shaky hence the need for a bi pod and at least a 10 power optic for shots beyond 50 yards to know that I am staying on target as I squeeze the trigger. I know 99% of everyone who uses this rifle will say get a 1-4.5 power optic, but a 1-4.5 power just wont work for my shooting needs, and I just don't know how everyone who uses a max power optic of 4 to 4.5 can see the placement of their shots beyond 75 yards with out a spotter ?

I am looking at buying the Bushnell 4.5-18x40 AR series scope because it is fairly compact and lightweight. It is calibrated for 223/5.56 but I have not found a scope that is calibrated for 7.62x39 that has a higher power than 4.5, so I will just have to make my own dope chart for the different rounds I will use.

Also asking what 7.62x39 round is suggested for taking average size east coast deer ? Hollow points or lead soft nose ? Because FMJ will probably go all the way through them and ruin some meat.

Thanks !

I've taken a 100lb buck with Corbon 7.62 x 39 Hunter ammo. It ran about 50 yards before piling up.

The second one was a small doe. That shot went in the boiler room broadside but got deflected back somehow and came out the stomach. That deer took a little longer to expire.

That's all I can offer. I have a 556R also.

Nikon has some AR specific scopes at reasonable prices and get good reviews.

I strongly recommend the Nikon's for someone who wants a reliable scope without spending $1,800. I wouldn't take it to battle, but hunting and range they are very nice. I specifically recommend the P223 for a .223/5.56 AR and the M308 for 7.62/.30x. Super clean glass and tactical turrets make them a great buy and easy to use.

This is what the P223 looks like on my M4. I don't have any pics of the M308. Its a little longer, but close to the same size.
