That is what I feel like today This is what I picked up at the pawn shop.
Yes, the price on the reciept is correct

It took a lot of effort to keep a poker face

I laminated the reciept this morning to keep as proof It needed a new disconnector and the barrel is shot out but otherwise fine. No pitting just blotchy.

I know someone on the m14 forum just happens to be selling 2 1911 barrells for 100.00 for the pair.

Yes, 1917 build date. Slim but still good chance it saw WWI, much much much better chance it saw everything after.
