Pull your panties out of your ass, nobody said shit about the guys ethics. The point is that I don't care if he is passing it straight across for what he paid. 1 little piece of plastic and 3 metal prongs that you have to assemble yourself isn't worth $40 especially considering its not even required.

X2 At first when he told me the price I was kinda shocked, but He had to actually call the supplier from England and buy a bunch of those in bulk to even get them. I wanted my stuff to look factory and to easily be able to pull the fan if needed, so I paid him what he wanted. Is he making a little off of me? Probably, but I don't care. He is a great guy and knows his stuff for sure! I will be getting a custom tune for my 6.0 and trans later this year from him also.

Even if it was $10, I would still just cut it off and hardwire it. I used 8ga on mine.

I was the one who said it sounded like a fuck you price, not DK. Maybe it was a bit harsh, but that's beyond ridiculous for a simple connector.

Buying in bulk generally brings the price down. Hate to see what they cost if you just bought one from the supplier.

The real question is why is Jeep and GM using this expensive, impossible to find connector?

Anyone have an update to this plug part #?

I called and left a message with John at Overland Performance. Hopefully they are still available. I'm good at running wires and soldering but having that factory look and able to quickly remove the fan if needed would be worth the $40. I've spent enough on everything else high end...what's one more?

Hopefully my post did not come across as my doubt he would call back. I was just curious if there were new updates to the part # information.

Exactly my line of thinking also. I got my plug from John and got it all wired up! My temp hasn't gone over 200 yet with the new fan.

That's awesome! John is a great guy to talk to and hooked me up with the Pentastar fan plug and re-settable relay system that he uses on his builds.

Thats what I got from him also. I was going to use a fusable link but he talked me into using a 50 amp circuit breaker instead. Works perfect!

Is 23332215 the former part number for this fan? I ask because Ebay has 10 of these available for $328.92 w/free shipping, which beats the best price I can find for the 84100128.

So glad I did this! Because now I have to pull my radiator out and either have it repaired or send it back for warranty since it leaks.

I am looking for a self resetting circuit breaker for the pentastar fan and was wondering what size to get. Ive got good quality 8g wire straight to the battery. What size breaker do you suggest?

The programming for the fan is in the TCM and yes, and 07 can be programmed for it.

I will look tonight to see if the rating is on the circuit breaker. It wasn't listed on my invoice.

07s are a bit tricky. It all depends on the Version number of your TIPM. Early 07s have a issue with the PWM setting options.
The PCM outputs the message for what fan speed is requested. The TIPM has the option codes stored in it for either Drop Resistor (07-11) or PWM (12+).
The TIPM will output what its told to from the PCM based on the option codes that are programed into it.

We have a few work arounds for the 07 but the easiest thing to do is run our new PWM fan controller.

We are about to release a PWM fan controller that is CANbus based and eliminates the need to flash the PCM or TIPM. I will start a new thread for discussion.
