Hella headlight replacements

I just installed my Hella headlights replacements with harness today and they are fantastic. The install was straight forward and took about an hour (I'm meticulous about routing my wires). Hit the road with them this evening and I can actually see in front of me. Couldn't help but smile as this is one mod my wife can't bitch about No more seeing my Jeep's shadow from the car lights behind me. And the high beams light up the road as far as I could hope. I don't have anything to compare these to but my stockers and the stockers of my FJ Cruiser which I thought were fantastic.

Highly recommend!

Had these and loved them. Only reason why I replaced them was due to cracking the lens. Be sure to turn off your DRLs so that when you wheel and hit some water you're not cracking the hot glass.

Damn! Your stock lights must REALLY suck!

Hella H4s are the standard fitting down here & we think that they suck and put better ones in.

Of course, the stock ones we get might not be the same spec you installed.

Most of us use a harness to give them full power and only use the stock harness to trigger the relays. What are you putting in?
The only ones I'm aware of that are better are Cibies and perhaps the JW Speakers or a custom HID projector setup...

I put in these reflectors. But this is the RHD version and we have the same style as the Euro type (except that most of them are LHD).

I run them with a pair of +80 H4 globes from the standard wiring. Much better than stock. I know some down here use relays & power from the battery, but I have not bothered with that at this point.
