replacing rear sub.

So im thinking of replacing my rear sub, just the speaker.
The factory speaker has 4 wires????
how would i hook up a normal sub?

The factory sub is dual voice coil. So find a sub that has dual voice coils and figure out how it is wired. Just be careful with polarity.

I went with this unit....

You will need to add a 3/4in wood spacer, as the driver is a little deeper. \\\\ebay////

Significant upgrade.

How is it I wanted to do the same does it hit harder? Did you tweak anything else?
