Interior lights freaking out

The problem first started when I would put the right blinker, on my gauge cluster lights and my gig lighting would go to the brightest setting until the blinker was cancelled. Next my interior lights started flickering on and off when I turned on the interior lights. Now while driving at night with the lights on my gauge cluster and mygig will get flicker dim and bright the whole time. I'm guessing the directional stick on the column is shot. My question is can this be replaced without removal of the steering wheel and is it part of a whole assembly? Anyone experience this?

I believe you can. I installed a factory fog light harness kit in a friends JK a couple years ago and it came with the new turn signal lever. The install wasn't to difficult jest had to remove the panels around the steering wheel. It has been a couple years so memory is a bit faded.

when weird shit like that starts happening I would start at the battery terminals. check that they are tight and not corroded. bad grounds will do funny stuff to lights and things. beyond that, good luck without ripping shit apart.
