BACKUP LIGHT HELP

Im planning on getting a set of rigid dually flush mount led lights to put on my rear bumper so I can actually see when I back up at night. What would be the best option to get for this specific application?

1) Diffused

2) Flood

3) Spot

For backup, I'd say diffused. That's what I did. I have two dually d2's.

I have a single dually flood tilted with a bias toward the driver side. I will eventually add another, but it works well enough now that I aimed it to the drivers' side.

I am a troll. Do not take my advice. It isn't going to help.

They also make a mount for right above the brake lights. One of the Jersey Crew guys is running them and they look pretty sharp. Plus, it puts the light on either side and elevates it a little more than it would be on the bumper.

Just a thought

If the lights are going to be fixed mounted then, you want a flood pattern. You want to light up as much area as possible around the jeep. (spot lights are only good if you can point them exactly where you need them)

I would run the floods for the flush mount option that you want.

they only make the mount for the passenger side. I've been waiting for the driver's side mount for a while now.

I have a pair of the Dually lights with the flood pattern in my rear bumper and I have no regrets at all. They work really well and provide plenty of light.

got diffused.

comparing diffused with flood. and i say diffused is WAY better. scatters the light perfectly instead of shooting in a designated spot. I slid them in farther now btw, just had them out wide so easier to take soft top off.
