sPOD and Rigid...

I have the sPOD 6 switch panel installed in my jeep, and I am in the process of installing multiple Rigid lights. My question is the Rigid lights come with a fancy wiring harness that includes a relay, fuse and switch. Can I just wire the rigid straight to the sPOD and cut the rest of the items off of the Rigid harness or are they necessary for the lights to work correctly??

Just wire direct to the sPod. Don't need all the other stuff.

Ditch all of the Rigid supplied stuff. The Spod is fused and relayed already up to 30 amps per channel I believe. I have been keeping the switches and relays from Rigid as spare parts. The Deutsche plug and about 12" of wire is all you need along with wire to extend to the Spod.

Parallel wiring. Positive to positive to positive, negative to negative to negative, etc.

You just run a single pair of wires from the sPod to the first light hook it up with another set of wires running to the next light. Match polarity at each connection and done

If you need a diagram, PM me and I can whip up a quick diagram.

Rigid is an awesome supplier for us. If you need their products without the relay and switch send me a PM and I can save you a couple of $. You will want the wiring harness however.

Alec, what could you possibly want the Rigid harness for if you're running and sPod?

Nothing, I was wrong, and forgot the harness also included the relay and switch. Thought it was just the wires and plug.

You may want this http://www.eadoffroad.com/rigid/rigi...eter-extension just to tap into.

Sorry.

Right on. That's exactly what you'd want.

That's what I'll do when I buy the D2's.
