sPOD mini and Contura V's?

I'm really liking the look of the Contura V switches. Has anyone tried to put them in a sPOD mini? I have a mini with 6 of the Contura II's and was wondering if there was enough room between the switches to swap them out and if the holes were large enough anyway. Any info on this is greatly appreciated.

It's a HAM radio; a Yaesu FT-857D with remote kit. Which means that the face / controls of the radio can be mounted seperately from the radio. My radio is actually mounted in the rear storage area.

(it does have the MARS/CAP mod which means it can talk on the CB band, just not leagally. I use this for receive only and have NEVER transmited on the CB band)

(really bad, dark picture of the radio mounted in the storage compartment)
