Trailer wiring help/ info.

I have a 08 jk with the tow package. Standard flat 4 pin wiring hookup.
Yesterday bought a small popup/toy hauler with the round wiring connector, popup is set up with electric brakes that I don't intend to use right now. Is there a connector/adaptor to make this work? I did a search, keep coming up with amp stuff. I spose a call to a rv shop will answer this. Thanks for any info.

There is no adapter to go from 4 pin to 7 pin or even 6 pin.
Unfortunately you will have to add a 4 pin to the trailer or add a 7 pin to Jeep.
Or if you can get a pigtail for trailer side 4 pin and tap into the existing wires on the trailer to just run the lights. If you do that you will be able to run with or without brakes depending on what vehicle you are towing with.

I took a second look at this plug below and it would be backwards for your application. The one below goes from a 7 way on the vehicle to a 4 way on the trailer. I guess it would not hurt to call an RV shop.

Part #4398. Second from the bottom. I just googled this so a RV shop should have something similar.

All U-HAUL trailer shops have 4/6/7 pin adapters in stock, just call a couple near you

I've got their 4/6 pin adapter for my 6-pin trailer to my 4-pin JEEP and with a few minor wire mods, it works STUPENDOUS
