Wiring HIDs? Using capacitors and diodes
So I'm having trouble wiring aftermarket headlights so they don't flicker. I made the dumb mistake of cutting the stock wiring connectors off the factory headlights- so it's just exposed wires now. I've fit the HIDs in, and cut the connectors off the HIDs as well. So how it's connected now is just the wires from the HIDs to the headlight wires (unfortunately I did this a couple years ago, before they made the relay harness kits).
I've done my homework and found the thread from way back about wiring a capacitor and diode to this to eliminate the flickering issue. I got both of the recommended parts to do this from Radio Shack.
My limited electrical knowledge is giving me a tough time making any since of the wiring diagram that was posed on here before.
Can someone please tell me what I need to do now? Where do I connect the capacitors and diodes to the cut headlight wires and HID wires?
Hopefully someone can explain this to me or has pictures. This should eliminate the flickering right?...
Thanks in advance!
