Is a TIPM repairable?
One guy on one of the forums did successfully repair his TIPM.
With nothing to lose, he took it apart, and spied what looked like a fried solid state voltage regulator or switch. The numbers were still readable, so after a little research, he purchased a like component. He removed and replaced the fried component, and it fixed the problem.
IIRC, the symptom was crazy behavior from some of the TIPM controlled accessories.
The part he replaced was one of the four black square components in the center of this picture.
