Smile Adding power mirrors to a 09 JK

Hello everyone, I have a 09 Rubi with manual mirrors however I would like to add power mirrors which I came across to my JK. Does anyone know how difficult this would be without splicing into any existing wiring or can this be done as a plug and play with the fuse block, also these mirrors are heated as well.

Are they factory '11+ mirrors that you are trying to add? On an 09 there aren't going to be any wires laying around for you to easily do this, you are on your own for the entire harness.

I wouldn't think it would be too complicated.
might want to see if you can get a wiring diagram and such so you can see if the motors run off 12 volts or if there are resistors in the harness.
Sounds like two or three toggle switches to me though.

I'd say jerry-rig the whole "battery thing" and directly wire in the control box.

You would need to bring the 12v-14v battery down to 3v to work with those mirrors if you got past the "battery thing".

Looks like this one has it's own wiring harness to run off the vehicle battery...

After seeing DumpTruck's entry, I searched for the company that made the kit:

Try giving them a call and see if they'll sell the wiring separately.
