wiring lights

Looks like I am buying some hidx lights fom a fellow forum member. I have ordered a switch panel and switch for them.

1. Where did you run your wire to get from the light to inside the jeep?
2. Where do you bring the wires in from engine compartment to jeep?

I'm pretty excited to do this, but dread drilling into the body of my jeep.

There's a panel at the end of your dash that's covered when the door is closed. Should pop right out. If you look in there, you'll see a foam-filled hole. Pokes right on out into yer engine compartment. Got one on the passenger side, IIRC.

Correct-a-Mundo.

Driverside floor, up on the firewall behind the dash you'll see large looms of wires going into a rubber grommet. Poke through that with a long screwdriver. You are now into your engine bay.
