Transmission Temp w/ Superchips Vivid?

Does anyone know if displaying the tranny oil temp is supported in the Superchips Vivid (Linq) display? It has a gauge for it in the list of available ones, but when I enable it, it doesn't display anything meaningful. This is one of the features I'd like most to work outside of the core stuff =)

I called Superchips about this today. They just said to update my LINQ and the will look into it. When I plugged it in there was a option to buy the Advanced Transmission option for $40.00. I have no clue as to what adjustments to make so I did not get it.

The problem I was having it was not even close to the correct temp compared to my interceptor that I have in the Jeep.

i cant answer the question. but it's another option.

i cant take credit for it but what i'm doing is monitoring the engine oil temperature, the transmission temperature, and coolant temperature, through my cell phone via an application called "Torque" and i'm getting live feed through my OBD2 Wireless/Bluetooth adapter.

The problem is that mine says the transmission oil temp is around 800 degrees (IIRC), when I can clearly state it's nowhere near that temp (pull out the dipstick, touch my finger on the oil. No smoke was pouring out of the dipstick, and my jeep ran and didn't leave transmission parts everywhere =), and didn't change over a test drive.

I've noticed a lot of the gauges aren't working correctly. I addressed this with Superchips and they are looking into it.

Cool - I hope they fix it, having tranny oil temp was a huge part of getting it vs. the pro-comp unit. (Admittedly, I am a sucker for all the gauges that do work and tell me nothing useful =)

Surprisingly, it started working out of the blue!

Yet, DAQ doesn't work...

Have you noticed how crazy it is to set the TPMS level? You have to go to the non-working DAQ, and then pull up the menu, hit some weird sub-option, and then you can adjust TPMS. Silly, lol.

EDIT: WTH am I thinking? It still doesn't work - it starts out at one level, and then goes up, up, and up a whole lot more. Says my trans is 250F after 5 minutes of driving on city streets. The trans temp warning would go off long before that.... *sigh*
