Unknown plug/connector

So i removed my pass seat on my 07 jk rubicon the other day and when i was putting it back in i noticed a connector that i dont recall unplugging. its coming out from the center console...but is only peeking out, no slack to pull it to anything.

any ideas?

I wonder if it's the harness for the rear power windows. I know on some cars the harness for factory options are there even though if that option is used.

Can't say for sure what it is but possibilities might be seat heaters or air bags.

That's my point. You have two doors so that's why it isn't used. The factory leaves the plug in the harness because it's easier and cheaper than making the change on the line. My old dodge truck had an option for an outlet in the center console. I didn't get the option, but when I tore the console apart, the wiring for it was there.
