Horn honking when exiting vehicle

Just brought home an 08 JK and it has one very annoying feature that I can't seem to get rid of. When I turn off the Jeep and open the door to exit, it honks. I've found threads and topics on turning it off when locking with the fob, etc but nothing on why it would honk when the door is opened after driving. Anybody know how to turn off this feature?

Similar. But it doesn't do it with the fob. I'll shut it off and go to get out and it will honk when I open the door. I'm gonna play with it some more and see if it has anything to do with the door being locked or unlocked when I open it.

Got it straightened out. Found an aftermarket alarm installed after I started poking around under the dash. Removed it, no more goodbye honk!
