Stock fogs problem

hey guys,

not good with electrical stuff, will a faulty fog light bracket cause the fog lights to not operate? My bulbs stopped working after I installed my front xhd about 8 months ago and finally replaced the fog bulbs today but those didn't work either! pissed off right now  TIA EDIT: Sorry mods, these should be in the electrical section.

I guess you've checked to make sure they're getting power?

No the bracket doesn't have anything to do with it. Lights are fed power and ground. If you got something on the bulbs/touched them enough, they could blow-out. Pull them and look at the filament, you'll see if they are broken or not. Check power as well.

Used vinyl gloves and didn't touch the new bulbs, didn't work. No clue. The fog light comes up on the dash, and have power to my low and high beams. Still lost with this.
