Question Circuit breaker & winch

Howdy all,

I just finished the install on my new Superwinch, and they included a ginormous metal circuit breaker with 3 50A breakers on there. (2 metal bars connected by 3 50A breakers) Should I really install this metal monster to my battery?

Thanks!

Bumpity bump. Is everyone else just hooking their winch straight to the battery? No breakers/fuses needed???

Hi Neal,

Thanks. The conduit is a good idea, and I'll most likely wrap my wires. I'll just put the breaker in the toolbox.

i don't know man... i would never run anything without a fuse. if the supplied fuse holder / circuit breaker doesn't look reliable, find one that is.
