i need help. jeep wont start

I put the key in the ignition and all of the electrical stuff turns on but when I put in the clutch and turn the key nothing happens. My keys (both the spare and the normal one) do not work. Neither do the remote door unlock. Is it my key?

you should be able to reset the module by disconnecting the battery for 10+ min then reconnecting.

I was just looking for info on this.
Happened to me when I was leaving work last night. Put the key in and nothing. Doors are never locked, so I didn't notice the remote entry not working right away. Had it towed to dealer, picked it up this evening after having a new module installed and the keys programmed.

Fixed it. Disconnected the positive terminal on the battery. Then pulled the M13 fuse. Let t sit for about 10 minutes and all is well in the world. For today.

But... is there a work around if the fuse / battery disconnect does not fix this??

I was lucky and it happened when I was leaving work. What if I'm on vacation, or the middle of nowhere? The Jeep just up and decides it won't recognize the key. That is a big deal if I'm far from home.
