jk grounding

does the jk have a positive ground, or a negative ground? The reason I am asking is the cb that I ordered tells you this

negative ground-connect red wire from cb to positive pole, and black to negative pole or to a neutral such as a chassis ground

positive ground- connect black wire from cb to negative pole , and red wire to a neutral such as a chassis ground.

I actually plan on running it via a little 12 volt adapter that plugs into the accessory port(12v) I am gonna pick up from radioshack, so I am not even sure if it matters, it has a + and a - screw to attach the wire leads to. I just need to know what to hook to what/ If I don't make any sense, it is because I am an electrical dumbass, and this question proves it!

I r confused Help TIA

Polarity....

Yes the Jeep is set-up chassis as ground, not the positive.
If you plan on using a 12VDC power adapter plug for your CB, make sure that you connect the positive wire to the center pole on the power plug! The outer prongs are the negative. Keep a fuse inline! Most power plugs have an internal fuse.
PM me and I will send you a power plug. Shoot me a picture of the wires and the back of the CB and let me know what brand and model it is.

Good luck.

That's what I'm talking about!

Nothing like a guy helping out just to make sure someone wires it up right!
