need help choosing a new sound system help

hey everyone,
i want to replace the stock stereo in my 2007 unlimited. i was think of using the Kenwood DNX7120 for a head unit. i listen to mostly rap, dub-step, and rock. i was thinking of at least 1 12inch sub thats gonna hit hard and can be taken out easily. i will want to replace all the stock speakers and get the amp in a location that will protect it from water and theft. the goal is to have a great sounding system even when the roof and doors are off when im cruising on the highway. ALL ideas, advice, and pictures would be greatly appreciated.

I can't help but I am interested in the replies you get. Having just gotten a new Unlimited, it doesn't appear to be much of an acoustical palette!

Here is what I did , the amp is mounted behind the box , the 8" is bolted to the tub , during the winter months I put my 12" in and when I take the top or doors off I use the 8"

Thumbs up

I think it was HITMONY who removed the interior portion of the glove box and mounted the amp inside where the compartment portion was. It's a GREAT idea to prevent theft because no one can see it, and you can lock it up!

some marine grade speakers might not be a bad idea for the water issues. i am currently not able to see the pics of the install above. but i saw pics of a guy who mounted an 8 unbder the rear seat and amp on the other side, however the downside is you can't put the seat down if you need to. i also know JL Audio makes a stealth box that might not be such a bad idea

I don't need anger management classes you need shut the f*#K up classes.
