Rigid Industry Dually or Conventional KC HELLA PIAA.......

Folks

I was about to buy the traditional KC 130 watt driving light until I saw the Rigid Industry Dually. I was going to mount them on the A pillars of the windshield (bottom Right Corners) It is smaller ( 3x3 ) which will mean less wind noise when traveling highway speeds. It draws only 15 watts per light, Out put is said to be the equivalent to a 55 watt mr 16 light. Puts out 1300 lumen per light. It comes in spot or flood. I would want the spot where I am putting the lights.

So why can I not pull the trigger and buy these things?
Is anyone running or seen a Dually spot or flood?
Last will I be happy with the dually or should I go with one of the tried and true and have the same JK as everyone else.

What do you think?

PS No I am not a vendor nor do I work for Rigid Industry or KC lights.

I run the Duallys all around both of my Jeeps and am very happy with the light output. I actually switched from the KCs to the LEDs

That's a 10" on the PSC Brawler Bar and in the picture, the rest of the lights are Duallys. I rarely hit on the 10".

I just put on the D2's last week and will be doing a night ride Friday in Ocala. The D2s are just plain SICK. I'm convinced they are brighter then the 10"

My night shot sucks. I was going to do some this weekend but here a cell pic with just Duallys on the Bumper and Windshield. Sorry for the crappy pic. You can't shoot pics on the light straight on. They are too bright and will mess with the camera.

You indicated you have spots on the WS. What sort of distance are you getting with them?

If I may add a reference to Vision X? Each LED is 10 watts.

Not sure if it's an option...

First fo all, you are taking a big step down from 130 watts to "55 watt equivalent".
Second of all, I've seen those so called "equivalent" lights. And they may be = in the hot spot at a close distance.

Am getting pictures today from the Dually2. . . They are so bright.
They are twice as much light as regular Dually the same size and less consumption.

We have Dually2 , 10" 20" 30" etc and regular Duallys on Stock. Will be adding the pictures Soon Just wait to see this working out ! ! !

You may want to check out the new UM LED lights from VisionX. They use 7-3watt Cree LED's. They are equivalent to 200watt halogen and come in 4" round or 4" square. List price is $189 each.
