Airbag Control module... where is it located?

Just replaced the airbag and clockspring but need to send my module off to be reset. I have a hunch its under the console but I don't want to take it apart to find it not there. Any one know for sure? Thanks.

I did a search but its all light related that I could tell not actually the location.

Anyone?

Found something else interesting now. I swapped out the clockspring and drivers bag and now the Traction lights are on. ANY ideas why?

Send a message via AIM to jocrazy0

IIRC the airbag sensor and federally mandated nanny module are located under the front passenger seat (2007).

air bag control module location

So, where was it located? I don't see anything under the RF seat of my 2008 Rubicon unlimited 4D. Also, is it necessary to replace the clockspring if both bags deployed?

Did you find where it was located? Does your Jeep have the side air bag option?

I have an 08 jk that had the airbags deploy, when making repairs, I bought a control module that came out of an 09, the connections are different, just barely, enough that it won't plug in!!!!
