Cruise control

ok guys be easy on me. I go on frequent drives home that include alot of highway and alot of 35to45to55to45to35 and so on roads. i have a problem with driving too fast when i go on these drives and cruise control makes life easy on me. so my question is does anyone make an aftermarket cruise for the jks? and how hard if possible would it be to take a factory one out one vvehicle and put it in mine?

You really don't want to do this. The kit sells for around $250, but if you do a little homework you can find all the same parts individually (search MoparpartsAmerica or jeep4x4center) for less than $100. (Closer to $80 if I remember correctly.)

Then if you want to install it yourself, there's a thread over on jk-forum.com complete with pics to show you how to do it. Takes about 30 min.

Or, if you're worried about voiding your warranty like I was, you can take the parts to your dealership and have them do the install.

So, I got the parts and had the cruise control installed for about $100 less than just the parts kit would cost.

One more thing. After I got the cc installed I started getting erroneous fault lights. I mentioned that to the dealership at the next service and they did a little magic on the computer.... no more fault lights.
