? for lockpick guys..

Thinking about having the wife get me the lockpick and camera for the holiday since it's something I would probably never buy but wouldn't mind having. I found this one on ebay.. Has anyone tried this vendor or does anyone have any feedback on the product itself? I don't know much about the versions or what additional cables I might need etc. I have the RER with nav . I'm mostly interested in unlocking the nav in motion and the backup camera for her, (she doesn't use mirrors very well and the big ass tire in the back window doesn't help her any.) I also wouldn't mind being able to run my ipod from the stereo.. I'm not sure if that requires a separate cable. $250 seems like a good price.. any input appreciated

Version 3 is the current one, and it's supposed to be updateable via a USB cable, for future features. I have one of the earlier versions (v2 I think) I lost some of the features a while back, and un/re plugging everything seems to fix it. The A/V cable should get you where you want to go with the backup camera. You can also have a front camera or a secondary video input.

I listen mostly to Sat radio, so I'm no help on the iPod. Whenever I want to use my iPod, I just plug it into the front jack.

Now back to a 2013 JKU Rubicon with "stuff", planning 37's with minimal lift.

I've tried them all... Jeeps are still the best. (0||||0)

Thanks guru, based on your reply and the fact that the guy has 100% positive feedback, I'm gonna go for it. I plug my ipod into the front jack as well, but my wife's car runs it from the stereo controls and I like this, plus it charges, so i will have to do a little homework on that one.
