speaker wire to sound bar?

for those of you running speakers with an aftermarket amp, how did you run the speaker wire to the speakers in the soundbar?

the above is most likely irrelevant.

I ran mine from under my driver side seat forward along the center hump to get into the dash. Then across the dash to the passenger side. Then along the passenger kick panel / door sill to the passenger B-Pillar. Then up the B-Pillar and under the bar padding to the passenger side connector on the sound bar.

I kept the factory connector in place and drilled a hole for the new wires I ran inside the soundbar to come out. I put a 4 pin molex connector on them so I can remove the soundbar.

I ran all 14 Ga. wire to my speakers. And 12 Ga. to the sub.

thanks!

so you drilled through the sound bar near the factory connector? did you plug the hole with anything?

the above is most likely irrelevant.

I ran it from under the dash, under drivers sill, up B pillar, and left a little loop before drilling in soundbar + plugging with silicone + dynamat on the inside. Also used 14 Ga.

Went under the padding of the rollbar down the back tube.

My amps are on the rear tailgate so they are hidden this way.

I would say it really depends on where you are mounting the amps, but there are a lot of options for you.
