Anyone else have very loose 12v outlets?

Both 12v dash outlets in my 09 are very loose, they've been like that since pretty much day one. I finally pulled the dash today to look at how they're mounted and it looks like they just snap in, so I don't really see a way to tighten them down. Hate taking the time to take it to the dealership for such a stupid little issue. Anyone else have this issue?

how so? like they spin around or go in/out?

i dont think mine are. one of my plugs isnt flush and think its pressed up against something cause it sticks out all cockeyed. i think i may have done that when i was fooling around with stuff though.

the above is most likely irrelevant.

They rotate and go in and out a little, wouldn't bother me except power flickers on one of them sometimes like its loose enough to contact the something else.

mine are loose too! its all good tho

In 2009 a crack commando wheelin' unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the South Florida underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as wheelers of fortune. If you have a problem. If no one else can help. And if you can find them. Maybe you can wheel with The 50/50 Off-Road Team.

My driver side is good, and my passenger side is loose and hasn't worked since I bought it in 08. I had them fix it once, and that lasted about a week and then it went back to being broken. Good luck with yours

Mine aren't loose... just anything I plug into them doesn't keep a good contact. gotta wiggle them around for them to work.

My passenger one is loose. I never leave anything plugged in it overnight or at all for that matter. There has been known to be JK's burning up. Most pics I have seen of the burnt one's, it looks as if the fires have started in the dash area. I don't trust it! No reason for these being loose other than crappy workmanship. I actually have plans to replace mine with after market units.
