rear lights

so Ive been bored lately and have been deciding how to fix the fact that I cant see shit when Im backing up (tinted windows and some idiot shaded my tail lights). so i decided to wire in some decent cheapo lights to mount to the back bumper and flip them on if I needed them for any reason.

$25 at auto zone and $10 in misc wires and connectors to lengthen some of the wires since I had to run them to the back. i also replaced the switch with one that looks like my KC lights switch.

one day i will wise up and just drop the cash for an spod to make shit like this easier. but for now, this is what I have.

Life's hard. It's harder if you're stupid.

Rear Lights

I Put in Rear lights also, But I keep having the bulbs burn out. I'm not sure if they are not getting enough voltage or if they are vibrating to much. I'm thinking to change for diodes.

Ya. Total controll is a little more complicated. My controll scheme uses a switch for manual on / off. And automaticaly on while in reverse. No "off" while in reverse. But that is O.K with me.

Just need a relay and you can have them triggered by your switch like they are now and by the reverse lights.

I just put this guy in today. had an extra HID laying around. Its a pencil beam but I figured it was still a good "you're annoying me" light.

I supposed I could use it for a back up light too.

Thant's exactly where I put my Vision X Solo.... use it as a back up light and a shut off your high beam light...

Try out these, only 10watts of draw and equivalent to about 85watts in Halogen output. See this thread https://www.jkowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5409
