Radio upgrade

I have a 2014 JKU Sahara and it has the basic radio and would like one with nav and the larger screen like my wife's 2016 JK. Looking to find out what year radio would work in my jeep?

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section...

Get on crutchfield/sonic electronix/similar and see what will fit. (mods, apologize if listing websites is bad)

I know on my previous 14 (and probably my 17 over Christmas) when I added a new deck, I had to take the rear support bracket and cut/de-bur it, so the new deck would fit. Did this with a dremel.

Also, depending on the size of the radio (single or double din) depends on a dash kit.

Don't forget the canbus adaptor. Be thankful since they've come way down in price. Its not much different than the old adaptors for aftermarket decks, just that it has a circuit board or two depending on the vehicle.

If you're just swapping decks, not a big deal. If you're adding amps/subs/speakers/etc, its more involved. Depending on your skill set will depend if you can do it or not.

You can google search (jkowers ndtguy 2014 radio) and my thread should come up. Not sure if the pictures will still work because of photobucket but it will give you a GENERAL step by step to swap it out. If you need the pictures, let me know, I'll email them to you.
