Vision X HIDs - my score

So was looking around at some lights today (am selling my 2 driving beam lights and need some replacements). Wasn't looking for anything too big or crazy... but came across their 8.5" 8500 35w HID light... on sale for $250 (vs $600) each. These were simply too good to pass up on.

Hopefully these will fit on the WS. Might have to get different mounts (currently using HIDx brackets - puts light low and to the outside).

Sadly the guy (Rich) said I grabbed the last two.

I've never used these before, but Rich said he's so impressed with these lights, he stopped carrying other brands. Anyone used these? Thoughts?

Cool deal. 8.5" is massive to be on the windshield IMO.

Yeah... I've seen pics of ppl with a 7" light there... doesn't seem that bad. If that doesn't work, I'll re-arrange things and put them on the bumper, and move some 6" spots to the WS. But would like to try these there first. The driving beams that are there work great on the trail at that height.

I think "Rich" may have lied to you unless they got some more lights in stock. They are still on sale and right now the website says they have 12 left.

No clue. But the 12 left was there before I bought mine. I'd still call but was just passing on what I was told.
